Information for Registered Sale

Will be Sat. ???? 4 Pm - New Time

This year for our registered sale we will accept Sheep as well as Goats. We know several people interested in hair sheep so as long as they have papers we will accept any sheep- hair or wool- for sale in this sale. We think there is an interest and if it pans out may do an all registered sheep sale in the future. And if you have some non registered this sale may be a good one to bring those too. Will sell after the registered sale is over.

Got some not real great but not that bad registered goats you would like to sell. Bring them to our regular sale every 2nd & 4th Sat. Decent goat bring decent prices. Thin, wormy, old registered goat won’t bring any more than grade goats.

Bring your best registered goats & sheep- this will help build your reputation as a breeder. Accepting only 100 registered animals and limited to only 15 billies and /or rams. Seelist of animals entered. For our registered sale we prefer top quality animals and gives you a chance to showcase your animals. And our buyers are looking for the better goats to expand their herd at that sale. Last sale doelings were the hot item.

  • Call Wayne and confirm that we have a place for all you want to send. 405-615-7065
  • Fax the copies of the papers to 405-258-1730, again call 405-615-7065 to confirm that all were received.
  • If you don’t have the papers yet send a pedigree of the animal for us to start putting together the booklet. ALL goats must have papers by sale date with the exception of kids sold by Dam side or they will be moved to the regular sale. Those can be on application as long as the Dam’s papers are in order. Must have copy of papers no later than ___________????. If you bring animals that are registered and have not entered them they will be sold thru the regular sale and we will read the papers then. So it is to your advantage to get into the booklet so people can preview what you are bringing that date.
  • Mail us a check to Countryside Auction, 108 E. 1st, Chandler, OK 74834 of $15 per head by _________ or you will be dropped from the booklet. That check will not be refunded. __________???If you want to drop an animal it must be done by Sept. 1 to not be charged. Once we have your entries and check and March 10 rolls around the booklet will be gone to press and cannot be changed and you will be subject to the PO fee for not having the animal in the sale. We will accept a substitute if something happens to the animal and can’t be brought. You will not be charged a PO fee if sub is brought but again it is not advertised and people may be looking for the goat you first promised.
  • A booklet will be printed and available at the previous regular sale and at the sale.
  • Sale day show up by no later than 2 PM so we can get your animals checked in and placed. Viewing for the sale animals starts at 2 PM. Sale order is as animals are booked.

People like to look at the goat and actual papers before sale time. We pen usually no more than 2 nanny goats (3 if doelings)- same owner- per pen with copies of their papers on the pen for you to look at. Billies penned separately unless raised together. All pens have water in them.

Goats sell in order as to how we receive the papers. We do a booklet usually ready a week or 2 before the sale as to what has been consigned with pedigree information. We can e-mail you a copy of the booklet if you would like.
