What is your commission? We get 7% for grade animals, 9% for registered and there is a minimum fee. We charge a yardage fee of 50 cents per head and a fee for insurance as set by the insurance co. There is also a fee for passing out an animal $5.00 for grade, $15 for registered.
Can we pick up on Sunday? Yes, we will meet someone out there on Sunday morning provided you set it up with Wayne after the sale Sat. night. If you can’t meet him Sunday morning you must set and confirm a time to meet him later when he can be available.
Do you serve any kind of food? Yes we have a concession stand that serves a minimum amount of food., Mostly pop, coffee, tea, candy and some kind of sandwich or hot dog as well as nachos and Frito pies.
Why did Guy quit? Guy asked us after the first sale in June to start looking for someone else. He said he would stay and help us but was getting so far behind with his work on his sale that he needed to spend more time there. We told him we would find someone. He said he would help us out in a pinch if we needed him. So Bob Roe called a couple sales for us. He is 80 and dont’ want a job but he is so easy to understand, then we had Randy Rittahaler and then Kody Meder. We have selected Kody to be our auctioneer. He is young and just strting out and is really easy to understand. He works hard to get the price for your animal and we have had very favorable comments on him.
