The new goat auction starting it’s 3 year just North of Chandler, Ok. sells Goats, Sheep and Llamas on the 2nd and 4th Sat of each month. This is a brand new barn built especially to handle the smaller animals. We have been getting really nice animals. The barn is operated by Old Goat Enterprises, LLC. Wayne and Karen Rozell are determined to give you the best auction around. We will water your animals. We have seen first hand what shrinkage does to your bottom line. All incoming pens have water buckets in them and anything left for pick up the next day will have a water bucket in it too. That is the biggest complaint we hear about a large local goat auction is they say they will water but they don’t. Sale starts at 5 PM. Next sale consignments if any. We are Air conditioned- arena & lobby!.

Saturday start unloading at 8 AM. till sale time but we prefer you be there by 4:30 so we can get you animals tagged, sorted, and penned before time to start the sale. My crew takes pride in their sorting of your animals so like ones sell together and if you drive in at 5 or after they dont’ have time to properly do their job.

Lincoln Co Goat Growers Association will meet next month at a restaurant to be announced on Tues the 7th of July at 7 PM. We are going to try “roving” for a couple months to see if we can get more interest in our group. Right now there is a need to consider whether we want to have a doe show in the Spring. The Fair Board has expressed it’s wishes to cancel it. By sponsering this event we could possible have more input into getting the rules standardized with OYE. Please make an attempt to attend this next meeting. If you raise goats it is in your best interest to attend. If not the group may fold for lack of interest and the doe show will be history.
